Orthopaedics-traumatology includes the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries of the bones, muscles, joints and ligaments. Orthopaedic injuries are serious injuries to a part of the musculoskeletal system, such as a joint or ligament . They are most often sustained in car accidents, slips, falls or sports.
