Orthodontic treatment
It is estimated that up to 70% people in Lithuania have crooked teeth. Some people suffer from minor crowding, while others have serious bite problems. Many people think that crooked teeth or an irregular bite is just an aesthetic problem, without taking into account the risk of serious health and functional problems that become more and more difficult to treat as time goes by. Even if they realise that straightening their teeth will make them look more beautiful, give them more confidence, and ensure better health and quality of life, many people are reluctant to change their smiles because of the lengthy and uncomfortable traditional treatment of metal braces. Today, however, patients can opt for a much more advanced method of straightening their teeth - dental straightening caps.
Dental straightening caps are a modern, comfortable and effective dental treatment
straightening solution. The caps themselves are virtually invisible removable orthodontic appliances made of soft and clear medical-grade plastic. The caps are designed to straighten teeth and treat malocclusion efficiently, comfortably and painlessly. By applying gentle pressure, they push the teeth into the pre-planned desired position. To keep the teeth moving towards the goal, patients need to replace the caps with new ones, normally every two weeks
In Lithuania, straightening caps are becoming increasingly popular. Why patients choose caps instead of traditional braces? Here are a few reasons:
- The capos are barely noticeable, so adults are not embarrassed to wear them.
- The grave is convenient to carry. They don't cause pain, irritate your gums, or scratch your cheeks and lips.
- Treatment with caposes is usually shorter and requires fewer visits to the doctor.
- When necessary, for example on special occasions, the patient can remove the cap.
- People who wear a grave do not have to change their daily habits. They can eat their favourite foods and exercise as normal.
- Straightening teeth with caps does not compromise your overall oral hygiene.

The treatment with tombs is simple. Your new smile is just a few steps away!
- Consultation and diagnostics. Your dentist will examine your current dental and bite condition and perform a dental scan.
- Digital treatment plan. A team of experienced Ordoline dental technicians and orthodontists will develop a treatment plan together with your doctor. At your next appointment, your doctor will present this plan to you and show you the results you will achieve after completing this treatment.
- Manufacture of graves. ,,Ordoline" will produce and send the tomb to your doctor. The doctor will give the tomb to you, together with all the necessary instructions.
- Treatment. You will wear the caps for 22 hours a day and change them as often as your doctor instructs. When you have finished wearing all the caps you have been given, you will enjoy your new smile.
How long will the treatment last?
Each treatment case is unique and will depend on your current dental and bite situation. During your visit, the doctor will assess how long your treatment will take, following the appropriate treatment instructions. Patients usually wear their caps for between 8 and 20 months.
Who is suitable for tomb treatment?
There is no age limit for tomb treatments. All adults and young people who have sprouted permanent teeth can enjoy a healthy and beautiful smile.
I've heard that only mild cases can be treated with capos. Is this true?
In the past, only mild cases could be treated with tombs. Ordoline is the next generation of teeth straightening solution, incorporating a wide range of orthodontic tools and 3D planning technology, so that Ordoline can solve even the most challenging cases. If your case is complex, additional orthodontic instruments can be used during the capping treatment.
Is capsule treatment more expensive than braces?
Different pricing may make capsule treatment seem more expensive than braces, but this will not necessarily be true. With braces, you will usually only pay for the initial fitting of your braces, and any follow-up visits and removal of your braces will cost extra. So you will only be able to calculate the final cost of your braces treatment once you have completed treatment. It is usual to pay the full amount for caps, as the doctor can accurately predict the course, duration and cost of the caps. If you are unsure about paying the full amount upfront, capping can be made more affordable by using a deferred payment service.
